ICDP (Enhanced indefinite chill iron) work roll is a high performance roll made by centrifugal casting method. By increasing the content of Ni, Cr, Mo and other alloy elements, the hardness of matrix and carbide was improved significantly. With special heat treatment, the working layer have uniform structure, density and small hardness drop. At the same time, it contains a small amount of free graphite, so it has good wear resistance, high capacity anti-crack forming and good surface quality.
