Details
The working layer of high chromium composite roll contains 8~16% chromium alloy, and the core is high strength Nodular cast iron. The microstructure consists of a tempered bainitic / martensitic matrix with M7C3-carbides. The roll is treated at high temperature to obtain optimum material properties. It has excellent fire crack resistance and very good oxidation behaviour at high temperatures.
