HiCr Iron
The working layer of high chromium composite roll contains 15~22% chromium alloy, and the core is high strength Nodular cast iron. The microstructure consists of a tempered bainitic / martensitic matrix with M7C3-carbides. The roll is treated at elevated temperature to obtain optimum material properties. It has good toughness, fire crack resistance and wear resistance.
